Inspired by slip-stitch patterns of Barbra Walker and half-pi shawl geometries, the Sunrise shawl is a worthy accessory for those dreary days when nothing is in the sky but clouds.

I originally thought the shawl was a pipe dream, but as I did some research, I found that the design could indeed be made, and I doodled out the pattern. A few months later, and here we are. :D

Size: With sock/fingering yarn - approx. 5 ft x 2 ft, blocked (1.5m x .61m)
Yarn: I used Lion Brand Sock-Ease Prints in Lemon Drop and Patons Kroy Socks FX in Green Striped Ragg or Cadet Blues, but feel free to use your own sock/fingering.

No gauge is given because it’s a shawl. Gauge is not an option, really, but feel free to experiment with sport or DK. Just go up the needles a size or two.

You will notice the pattern is unisex. I truly believe that lace, mostly the rib patterns, can be used with guys as well as women.
