Inspired by the rays of sun on the gentle waves off Sunset Beach in Vancouver this scarf will be a lively addition to your wardrobe. Light and airy and a fun knit, it uses 1 skein of a special sock or fingering yarn. Make the most of variegated and hand-dyed yarns with this delightful design.

The purl stitches form zigzag columns throughout the work. At the end, the top of these stitches are then dropped and unraveled to create a drapy zigzag scarf.

Sizing and Gauge:
9” (23cm) W x 72” (182cm) L (after blocking)

15 stitches/ 22 rows = 2” (before dropping stitches)

Please note that while gauge is not critical, be aware that the finished size and yarn usage may vary.

Suggested Materials:
1 skein Yarn Over New York sock yarn (approx 400yd)
US 2.5 (3mm) knitting needles (straight or circular)
Large eye needle (for weaving in ends)
