Needles: Needle size is suggested- the size you need to obtain gauge may be different.
Main Needle: US 4 (3.5mm) circular needles for the body and sleeves. Longer cable needle for Magic Looping or DPNs will be needed for the neck and beginning of the yoke.
Neck/Ribbing Needle: US 2 (2.75mm) circular needles for the neckband and sleeve hem, or one size smaller than main body needle. Longer cable needle for Magic Looping or DPNs will be needed for the sleeve cuffs.

Other Notions: Stitch markers, stitch holders (or scrap yarn), tapestry needle

Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rounds over 4” 10 cm in stockinette on larger needles, after washing and blocking.

NOTE! Some knitters may need to change needle size for colorwork to maintain the proper gauge. I recommend swatching both in colorwork pattern and plain stockinette to determine whether this is necessary for you.
