Worsted / 10 ply (9 wpi)
17 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in St st
US 5 - 3.75 mm
US 7 - 4.5 mm
645 - 1075 yards (590 - 983 m)

NB Recommended yarn has been replaced by Lion Cotton.

Summary Slipped stitches, garter stitches, stockinette combined in child’s pullover. Knit flat and seamed. Sleeves worked separately and sewn on. Chart and written directions provided for slip stitch/garter section
