The tote got its name from the first version of this bag - it was yellow like Sun. The pattern is written in UK crochet terms. Gauge is not essential, pattern should work with any yarn weight and matching needle size.

The front and the back of this bag are worked separately, first crocheted in round and then knitted in rows. Then two sides of the tote are joined with a three-needle bind off. Then the strap is crocheted in two parts and sewn together.

Required skills:
Crochet: ch, dc (= US sc), tr (= US dc), ss, crocheting in round and in rows;
Knit: k, p, kf&b, picking up sts, three-needle bind off.
