This is for the pattern for my Super 70s Potholder Hat. It’s a really fun, bright hat that reminds me of potholders my grandma had in her house when I was little. It fits great, and is really comfortable. The stitch is relatively stretchy.

Hat will fit an average woman’s head (21-23”)

You don’t need much yarn for this hat. You will need the most of your main color (about 150 yds), and can use scraps for the others. You can use different brands of yarn together, but make sure they’re all the same weight.

This pattern assumes a knowledge of basic US crochet terminology. Stitches include sc, ch, dc2tog, and dc3tog.
Perfect for the intermediate skill level, or a very adventurous beginner.

I’ve made this hat in a handful of other colors, and it always turns out beautifully. I’ve used acrylic, cotton, wool, and they all turned out great.

This pattern is for personal and charitable use only. Please do not sell hats for your own profit made from my pattern.

This pattern is now available as a Ravelry Download.
