DESCRIPTION

The Super Basic Tank Top is a casual and relaxed tank top with a loose fit.
It is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch.
First the back is worked with some increases to define the widht of the shoulders, then you work flat until you reach the armholes. Next the two shoulder parts are worked separately by picking up stitches along the shoulders, increases are forming the neckline until the two parts can be joined. As soon as the armholes are reached, the front and the back can be joined to work in rounds until the body has the desired length. Then the neckline and the two armhole trimmings are worked by picking up stitches from the wrong side to work stockinette stitch in rounds and to be folded and sewn down on the right side.

SIZES // SIZE GUIDE

1 / (2) / 3 / (4) / 5 / (6)

Positive ease is about 5-10 cm.
The sizes refer to the body chest measurement of
81 cm / (86 cm) / 92 cm / (98 cm) / 104 cm / (108) cm.

Bust measurement of the FINISHED tank top:
86 cm / (93 cm) / 100 cm / (108 cm) / 113 cm / (118 cm)

The tank top is designed to have a positive ease of about 5 cm. Measure
yourself to decide how much positive ease you would like to have or
compare it with another tank top you already own to choose the right size for you. For example, if your bust measures 87 cm you should knit size 2.
The sizes 1-6 correspond to the usual sizes XS-XXL.
However, you can choose the size depending on the positive ease and the
style you want to achieve when wearing your tank top.
