This is more a recipe for a pair of slippers that can be made in any weight yarn (worsted is listed above because the sample pair I made and the one photographed in the pattern is an adult size slipper in worsted weight superwash wool), and for any size foot from infant/toddler to adult.

The pdf pattern includes a thorough photo tutorial, with each step of the design clearly illustrated. The pattern calls for a smaller hook size than you would normally use with whatever weight yarn you choose so that your fabric is more dense.

The pattern is written to make a basic, slip-on slipper, one that does not cover the ankles. It can easily be adapted to make ballet flat slippers, a Mary Jane style slipper, or a basic loafer shape slipper. If you choose to make a Mary Jane style, you will also need two buttons.

This pattern has been tested, but please feel free to message me if you have questions or concerns.
