Super Simple Cabled Cap
Just as the title describes it, this cap is simple knitting, with 1x1 ribbing, a wide 8-stitch cable, and quick crown decreasing. Three sizes guarantee a comfortable, close fit. It’s just a basic, “go-to” cap!

Sizes
Adult Small (Medium, Large)
To fit: 19 (21, 23) in 48 (53, 58) cm head

Finished size: 15 (16.5, 18) in 38 (42, 46) cm circumference unstretched
7.25 (7.75, 8.25) in 19 (20, 21) cm height

Needles
US 6 (4 mm) 16 in (40 cm) circular knitting needle
US 7 (4.5 mm) 16 in (40 cm) circular knitting needle
1 set US 7 (4.5 mm) double-point needles
OR 40 in (100 cm) circulars in each size for the magic loop method

Yarn
Approximately 60 (70, 80) g 2.1 (2.5, 2.8 oz) of smooth, plied worsted weight yarn
Adult Large sample used 67g (2.4 oz) of Malabrigo Rios (100% Merino wool 210y/192m per 100g skein), 1 skein in color Paris Night
