This is Susie. She is a laid back little monster that likes to live life in the slow lane.

To make Susie, you must know how to:
• Single Crochet (US) / Double Crochet (UK)
• Use ‘Magic circle’ method for crochet in the round (stitch multiple stitches within one loop and pull tight to form a circle)
• Increase
• Decrease
• Slip stitch
• Chain stitches
• only suitable for English speakers

You will need:
• 100g green double knitting yarn for main body (A)
• 50g of orange double knitting yarn for spikes (B)
• Small amount of black double knitting yarn for facial features (C)
• Small amount of white double knitting yarn for teeth (D)
• 4mm crochet hook
• Embroidery needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Row marker
Tip: Use different colours to give your own monster a different look!

Abbreviations:
• SC : single crochet (US) / double crochet (UK)
• St. : stitch
• Sl.St. : slip stich
• 2SC : crochet 2 stitches in same stitch (increase)
• SC2tog : crochet 2 stitches together (decrease)
• Ch. : chain
