This saucy little beret was designed to bring a little skip to your step, as you walk out of your house in style.

Knitted in the round with a worsted weight, hand dyed superwash wool; you will stay warm and chic at the same time.

The chevron pattern on the body of the hat is created with simple increases and decreases; the bow is optional and added last.

Debbie Bliss Donegal Luxury Tweed Aran (CC) – 85% wool/15% angora, 93 yds / 85 m per 1.76 oz / 50 g; 1 ball, or approx 30 yds / 27 m of worsted weight wool yarn (sample shown in color Red – 05)

Needles
Sizes US 5 (3.75mm) 16” & US 6 (4mm) 20” circulars and US 6 (4 mm) dpns (for shaping top of hat, or preferred method for working small circumferences in the round) or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge
20 sts x 24 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Grain of Powder patt, using smaller needles
24 sts x 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Chevrons & Honeycomb patt, using larger needles, unstretched
(Note on gauge: Chevrons & Honeycomb patt is very stretchy.)

Cloche is knitted in the round from the bottom up.
After hat is completed, the bow is knitted and then sewn into place.
