SWAN SOCK - Sock Without A Name by Lucy Desgrey

SWAN SOCK - Sock Without A Name

A nearly seamless sock with traditional hand-knit heel contruction on a single bed knitting machine. Stitch and row values are given for three versions using Lucy’s method of sock construction.

Includes standard gauge, mid gauge, and bulky gauge, each in several stitch and row gauges. They are in sizes that fit an average female foot but can easily be changed to accommodate different sizes. Instructions are included for using your own measurements to get a sock that is perfectly fitted to your own foot and knitted in the yarn of your choice.

Standard gauge version has a cushioned foot and slip stitch heel flat and heel turn. The mid gauge version has a plain foot, heel flap and heel turn. The bulky version is a house slipper. There is also a method for knitting a double bed circular version incorporating the same flap, heel turn and gusset construction.
