This is a long-sleeved crew-neck pull-over with a cable & eyelet pattern on the front and sleeves. Three sizes are given: 32-34, 36-38, and 40-42 inch chest. Actual garment measurements are 39.5, 43.5, and 47.5 inches.

There are two types of gauge given, one over the cable pattern and one using reverse stockinette (the back is worked in reverse stockinette).

The smallest size calls for 10 balls of Fil d’Ecosse No. 4 - about 11 yards.
