This knitted vest top has the option of a cosy double roll neck or a shorter crew neck. The stricking rib design flows from the neck right down to shape the front and back of the vest, and then follows the length of the vest to the bottom rib.

Using M1R & M1L to shape the vest, the pattern covers sizes 6-28. You can choose the length of the vest, and whether you want splits at the bottom of the vest with differing lengths on front and back, or you can go for no splits and the same length all round.

The pattern is very generous in sizing, so if you’re inbetween sizes you don’t need to size up, and if you’d like it more fitted, you can go down a size.

The vest is knit in the round so no sewing up required! It’s a lovely project and reasonably quick to finish!

SIZE
All sizes are approximate based on tension and the stretch of the yarn. Also please note that the armholes are very wide so that will add to sizing. The sweatervest is very generous in size.

Small – UK 6-10 / Approx 45cm wide
Medium – UK 12-16 / Approx 60cm wide
Large – UK 18-22 / Approx 65cm wide
X Large – UK 24-28 / Approx 75cm wide
You decide how long you’d like your sweater vest to be, and whether you’d like the back the same or longer than the front.
