Jaeger Wool Stretch is a new, highly technical yarn with very special properties. The construction of the yarn produces stability and springiness, whilst the combination of Lycra and wool give a natural stretch to the yarn, resulting in an extremely comfortable garment which will always keep its original shape.

To achieve the best results, steam press the knitted pieces before sewing up. During the steaming process the pieces will shrink by approx 10% in length - but not in width. The steaming process tightens the stitches to give a very even and perfectly finished fabric. Jaeger knitting patterns take this shrinkage into account and the appropriate allowances have been made.
