Toys often seem to look cuter with clothes on, and of course children love to take things off and on.

Here are some scaled down versions of Raglan Top Down Sweaters in toy sizes. Size A is the smallest, Size E is the largest.

What I did was make one of each size and I keep those forever. When I have a toy which needs a sweater, I can try each size on to see which one fits best and then make one in that size, in whatever color I’m wanting.

These are long patterns, written out row by row to help new knitters. You semi professionals out there will likely just be annoyed by how long they are. But I hope they help you enjoy making toy clothes, or at least a sweater.

I have attached each size Sweater as a separate document. With my gauge, the approximate size of the sweaters is as follows.

Size A (the pink sweater, the smallest)
Length shoulder to hem: 2.5”
Width across neck: 1.5”

Size B (the green sweater, 2nd smallest)
Length shoulder to hem: 3”
Width across neck: 2.25”

Size C (the yellow sweater, middle size)
Length shoulder to hem: 3.75”
Width across neck: 2.75”

Size D (the blue sweater, 2nd largest)
Length shoulder to hem: 4.5”
Width across neck: 3.0”

Size E (the orange sweater, largest)
Length shoulder to hem: 5”
Width across neck: 3.5”
