The Sweet Alyssum Mittens have a floral stranded-colorwork motif reminiscent of a field dotted with flowers. The mittens start with corrugated ribbing at the cuff and then the lower hand and thumb gusset are worked at the same time. After the thumb stitches are placed on a holder, the top of the hand is worked to the fingertips. These mittens are worked with a superwash Merino, mohair, and silk blend in three colors.
