This drawstring bag is knit in the round from the top down. The honeycomb pattern is worked using slipped stitches so only one colour yarn is used on each round. The flat base of the bag is worked in garter stitch.

DK weight yarn in 2 colours. A cotton or cotton/acrylic blend is recommended.

Equipment
4mm (US6) circular needle 40cm (16in) long, or size needed to match garter stitch gauge.
4.5mm (US7) circular needle 40cm (16in) long, or size needed to match honeycomb stitch gauge.
4mm (US6) dpns, or size needed to match garter stitch gauge.
6 stitch markers (one different to mark the end of the rounds).

Gauge
