This cute, simple bonnet starts with a scalloped edging, is then worked back and forth in garter stitch and subsequently joined and knit in the round for the crown decreases. Stitches are then picked up along the bottom edge for a rolling neckline. Instructions are given for an optional i-cord string – especially useful for babies who like to wriggle! If you’re not sure what size to make, I’d suggest going up a size, as hats are worn with some negative ease and babies grow quickly.
