The perfect layering piece for year-round wear, whether it’s while at the office, evenings out, weekend outings, or summer outdoor concerts. Worked in rib, eyelet cables and twist stitches, this cardigan will work up quickly.
Work the body in one piece from the bottom up with a little shaping at the sides. After dividing the fronts and back at the armholes, work each section separately to the shoulders, then bind off in steps to shape the shoulders; you’ll have a more stable shoulder seam when the fronts and back are sewn together.
The sleeves are worked in the round from the cuff up, then the sleeve cap is finished by working back and forth.
The front and neck edges are finished off with a few rows of garter, and eyelets along the right front edge are used as buttonholes.
