Sweet shells make a wonderful little cotton bag that is just perfect for summer days. Simple shell and post stitches are crocheted around a base of single crochet stitches. Finish the bag with a shell stitch edging, shoulder straps and a crocheted button. Add a crocheted flower for an eye-catching embellishment.

Size: Approximately 20” in circumference (or around) and 7 1/2” in depth.
Skill level: Intermediate.
Materials: “Emilia” (a sports weight or size 3 yarn) from Omega Yarns.
Tools: Boye crochet hook, U.S. size F.
