This rectangular stole is knit with 2 colorways of a fingering-weight yarn. It features a floral nosegay lace border pattern and a small sprigged violet blossom lace pattern in the center. It is knit from one end to the center. These stitches are placed on hold, and the second border is then cast on from the opposite edge and worked to the center, where the two halves are then grafted together.

The sample was knit with a tonal/semisolid colorway for the main color and a speckle dye for the contrast color. You will need approximately 380 to 400 yards of a fingering weight yarn of 2 colors to knit the sample as written.

This shawl is the second of a 6-part pattern series featuring lace patterns for the Wooly Wonka Fibers Herbarium Club - Lace 2017. An ebook collection of all 6 of the patterns (with patterns released every other month during the course of 2017) is also available for download.
