This pattern is designed as a fun way using up odd ends of 4 ply or DK yarn. They measure 8cm x 2.5cm.

They’re ideal for gifts or for fundraising as brooches or without the pins can be toys for children, e.g. for when playing shops - I would have loved these as a child.

The pattern is also very easy and ideal for beginners just using stocking stitch and some simple colour changes. Some charts for colour combinations are included with the pattern to get you started, then you can customise the patterns to try out colour combinations and stitch patterns.
