This is a sweet little top for any little girl. The interesting thing about this pattern is that the top has lace on the sleeves and on the back, (not the front!). The ribbing is decorative and easy. So it looks adorable from all angles! The lace is charted and the charts are large and easy to read. You will need to know or learn how to k, p, k2tog, ssk, yo, i-cord bo (instructions included - it’s easy!). It is worked top down. Top is a seamless raglan; i-cord bind off worked on the sleeve cuff. Quick and easy!

Small fits sizes 18 - 24 months. Medium fits sizes 2-6 years. Large fits sizes 8 - 10 years. You will get the different sizes by changing yarn and needle sizes as detailed in the pattern. (Above are the materials for size small only, read on for other sizes.)

Size Small uses fingering weight yarn and size US 2/2.75mm and size US 3/3.25mm needles. The i-cord sleeve bind off uses size US 1/2.25mm needles.

Size Medium uses sport/dk weight yarn and size US 4/3.5mm and size US 5/3.75mm needles. The i-cord sleeve bind off uses size US 3/3.25mm needles.

Size Large uses dk/worsted weight yarn and size US 6/4mm and size US 7/5mm needles. The i-cord sleeve bind off uses size US 5/3.75mm needles.

Note: Lacework is optional. You can work stockinette/stocking st in these areas instead, if desired. You can also use just one color.
