Swift Arrow is the worsted weight version of my popular Arrow of Dodona Cowl. It’s a quick knit and a warmer version for the colder days. The cowl is worked with 2 strands of fingering weight yarn. With only 2 skeins of fingering weight yarns in different colors you can create this quick to knit and warm accessory.

Finished Measurements: Approx. 47 in (119 cm) circumference, approx. 8.5 in (21.5 cm) width, blocked.

Yarn: Madhouse Sock yarn by Asylum Fibers, Fingering, Superwash 100% Merino,
approx. 438 yards/100 gr, 1 skein in color way Delirium (purple); 1 skein in colorway Therapy (gray speckled). https://asylumfibers.com/
Fade is created by working the cowl with 2 strands of yarn. Create colors as follows:
Color A: 2 strands of purple, Color B: 1 strand purple and 1 strand gray speckled, Color C: 2 strands of gray speckled.

Needles: 24 in (60 cm) size US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles, one spare circular needle of similar size for provisional stitches.

Notions: 1 locking stitch marker, crochet hook for crochet provisional cast on, waste yarn for provisional cast on, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge: 18 stitches and 20 rows = 4 in (10 cm) in stockinette and lace pattern stitch after blocking.

Construction Notes

• The cowl is worked flat and the live stitches are seamed together using Kitchener stitch.

• It’s fully reversible: it can be worn inside out with arrow pointing in either direction.

• If you prefer a solid color version, substitute with worsted weight yarn.
