About this pattern: This is a slouchy beanie with swirl top – swirl top can be used as an opening to pull the ponytail through. It is very easy to make one, yet it has such a unique look.
The hat is knit flat, and it has no negative ease. It is also comfortable enough for those who have long hair, braids, or dreadlocks.

Gauge: 19 sts in 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch (row gauge is not important for this pattern)

You will need: Worsted yarn (up to 150 grams for the smallest size, up to 350 grams for the largest size), knitting needles to obtain the gauge, darning needle, pins, or clips (I prefer using clips).
