Oh the slip stitch…how I love you! I love the texture that I was able to create with this pattern and the weight of the yarn. I didn’t block the mitts and recommend lightly blocking if needed. Please keep in mind I am a loose knitter, so check your gauge!!!

The pattern is easily modified by adding (or deleting slip stitch pattern, as well as stitch count) repeats of the Swirling Colors pattern…caution on yardage requirements.

Any Aran weight yarn should work, but I must say that the Rowan Felted Tweed Aran is amazing!

GAUGING was done in the round using the stitch pattern and good sized swatching. Gauge can vary quite a bit from flat knitting to round knitting and swatching these in the round is critical.
