Swirling Rivers Socks were designed to show off the colors of the self-striping yarn, Trekking XXL, while still allowing the knitter to use a detailed stitch pattern. They will also work with other similar striping yarns, and will of course work with plainer colors. Have fun, knit some lace, and still use that self-striping yarn we all love to buy then wonder what we’re gonna do with it! The pattern is written for several sizes, and should fit most women’s feet and even some men’s feet if they are so inclined. This is an intermediate level pattern, and may be suitable as a first or second lace project for someone looking to expand their skills. The lace motif consists of only 2 lace rows that are repeated over and over, so is easy to memorize and construct.

Finished sizes: US women’s 5-12
