I have been told that there were several similar patterns already available. Yes, I am sure that a design as simple as this one has been made worldwide for many years, even without any patterns or instructions (I myself have been making this for over 10 years.) I am not claiming to be the only/first one to come up with the idea. Actually, this hat design of mine is based on a popular Japanese TAWASHI scrubby design and it’s been known for at least a few decades now. What I just did was to put it into a nice looking PDF so people who doesn’t already know can get to know it. Not trying to take credit for its history, not trying to steal anyone’s work!
