This square joins four swirls together in a fun pattern with a solid fabric. A great addition to any blanket, and a fun new square for charity or a group comfortghan.

The swirls themselves are created with three strands at a time, but the third strand is only used for one round, so you don’t have to manage many live threads at once.

Each motif is joined to the previous one with a Join-As-You-Go technique outlined in a photo tutorial.

The model is crocheted in DK weight yarn, but you could easily use worsted weight yarn and a larger hook for a 12” square.
