Some days you want to knit complicated lace in cobweb yarn, or knee high socks, and then other days you just want to knit. This one is for those other days. Delightfully squishy garter stitch means lots of straightforward knitting, with just a few yarnovers for shaping.

Designed to make the most of a small amount of handspun by combining it with a commercial yarn, this pattern will work equally well in two colours of commercial yarn.

100g of yarn will give a triangular shawl approximately 115cm wide and 38cm deep. A larger shawl can be made by using more yarn and continuing the stripe pattern until you have just enough left for the bind off.

Exact gauge is not important for this project. Choose a needle size larger than the one listed on the ball band to give a drapey fabric.
