This tailored little vest is equally striking on a gal dashing off on her Vespa after tossing back a milkshake or on a vixen at an indie club throwing back her second Manhattan.  It’s a great layering piece for the urban lifestyle.  It’s just the thing to wear when there’s a nip in the air.  Throw it on over a collared shirt or on top of a plain T-shirt.  Either way the effect is tasty all around.

The pockets are made in the easiest possible way.  The tubular cast on and bind off are the challenges in this project.  Sewing tricks make it couture while the tubular cast on give this gilet a pret-a-porter feel.
