Sydney is a great example of all-season sweater dressing worked in one of my all-time favorite yarns, Rowan’s dk weight Wool Cotton.

Worked in one piece from the bottom up on circular needles, you jump right in with a relatively simple diamond lace stitch before switching to Stockinette. Shaped at the sides for a better fit then worked to the armholes where you’ll divide for front and back.

The front is treated with a V-neck while the back has a modestly high scoop-neck making the dress reversible depending on the occasion.

The neckline and armholes are finished with seed stitch bands for a bit of texture.
