Sydney is a stylish, unisex beanie featuring a unique and trendy hexagon colorwork pattern. This is a 2-in-1 pattern with instructions for both a skullcap and slouchy version of the beanie. This hat is perfect for a beginner, and best of all, uses a colorwork technique that doesn’t require changing colors in the middle of a round! The pattern comes with easy to follow step-by-step instructions and helpful, clear photos.

This is an original design, using US crochet terms. You may not copy, distribute or sell this pattern as your own design, but feel free to sell finished hats made from this pattern!

Skill Level: Beginner (Requires knowledge of sc, hdc and dc stitches).

Size: One size fits most. Hat measures approximately 20” around. Beanie measures 7.5” long, and slouchy hat measures 9.5-10” long.

Materials:
-Beanie: A total of approximately 150 yards worsted weight yarn in two colors. Example uses Brown Sheep NatureSpun Worsted in Scarlet and Goldenrod.
-Slouchy Hat: Approximately 200 yards worsted weight yarn in two colors. Example uses Paton’s Classic Wool in Dark Grey Mix and Lemongrass.

Tools:
-Hook: Sizes H/8 (5mm) and I/9 (5.5mm) , or size to obtain correct gauge.
