The mitts are knitted in the round and starts with the cuff. The cuff narrows at wrist, decreases are placed before the last Latvian braid for the cuff. The mitts have increases for the thumb and you put stitches on stitch holder/waste yarn and cast on new stitches to knit the rest of the mitt.
