The mitts are knitted in the round and starts with the cuff in ribbed knitting. The mitts have increases for the thumb and you put stitches on stitch holder/waste yarn and cast on new stitches to knit the rest of the mitt. Decreases for ending/fingers is done at each side of the mitt.
