This beret pattern makes the most of the colourways of sock yarn, by using a simple chevron based pattern to create multiple lines of symmetry and reflection.
Pattern is provided in both written and charted format, and is worked in the round, bottom up.
Materials:
100g/420m/459yds Zitron Trekking Hand Art Sock (75% new Wool, 25% Nylon)
OR 100g/411m/450yds Dream In Colour Smooshy (100% Merino)
Set 2.5mm DPN’s or size needed to obtain gauge
Stitch marker as necessary
Tapestry needle
Gauge:
32 sts x 40 rows to 10cm/4” on 2.5mm needles over St.St
30 sts x 40 rows to 10cm/4” on 2.5mm needles over Twisted Rib
Sizes:
To fit sizes: 19 (21.5, 24) inches, 48.25 (54.5, 61) cm
Finished size: 17 (19.25, 21.25) inches, 43.5 (49, 54) cm
