18 stitches and 26 rows = 4 inches in Reverse Stockinette Stitch with largest needles
US 6 - 4.0 mm
US 7 - 4.5 mm
US 8 - 5.0 mm

A cropped cardigan, knit vertically, beginning and ending at center front. Short rows are used to shape sleeves. One button closure.

SIZES: Small/Medium (Large/Extra Large)
To Fit Bust Measurements: 341⁄2–38 (391⁄4–43)”
NOTE: Because of the side to side construction and short rows, each size will fit a wide range of bust measurements. Front edges are intended to hang open and only overlap at the button closure.

MATERIALS:
Waterlily
by Classic Elite (100% extrafine merino; 50 gram ball = approx 90 yards)
• 10 (12) balls 1957 Wedgewood
Needles:
• One pair size US 8 (5 mm)
Or size to obtain gauge.
• One set double pointed needles (dpns) size US 6 (4 mm)
• One 29” circular each size US 6, 7 and 8 (4, 4.5 and 5 mm)
• Cable needle (cn)
• Stitch holders or waste yarn
• One 3⁄4” button
