The SYMPHONY HAT is a warm beanie with a beautiful cable pattern accentuated by a simple ribbed brim which will fit women and men perfectly on colder days. It is worked fast from bottom up in one piece and is a simple add on that will work well with nearly every style. You can choose if you like it the short way or adding some more cables for a relaxed style.

This hat is knitted with 2 strands of Sandnes Borstet Alpakka and 1 strand of Drops Sky held together.

needles
8mm (US 11) or required needle size to obtain gauge
I prefer to use the magic-loop-method on circular needles, instead of using some double pointed needles. it‘s up to you what you like and prefer.

materials
2 skeins of SANDNES Borstet Alpakka (96% Brushed Alpakka, 4% Nylon, 50g, 110m/120 yards) and 1 skein DROPS Sky (74% Alpaca, 18% Polyamide, 8% Wool, 50g, 190m/207 yards). I used color CREAM

NOTE… The combination of these two yarns will be very nice and soft after washing. Don‘t forget to make your gauge and keep in mind, that every yarn stretches different after washing!
