NEEDLES and NOTIONS

  • US size 5 (3.75mm) 32”/80cm circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
  • US size 4 (3.5mm) 16”/40cm and 32”/80cm circular needles or one size smaller than needed to obtain gauge
  • 7 (3/8”/12mm) buttons

CONSTRUCTION
BACK and FRONTS are worked bottom-up, then sewn together. Seams are sewn and bands are picked up and worked.
Pocket linings are worked as “pouches” and are incorporated into each front. Each pocket lining is worked to twice the desired depth of the pocket, then the lining fabric is folded up and rejoined to top of pocket using 3-needle join technique.
