This squishy cowl is a great canvas for learning brioche basics! It is worked flat and grafted which lets you practice keeping your selvedges neat. Plus, learning to syncopate the ribbing creates a delightful play of texture and colour.

1 ball each in two colours of Drops Air
Our sample used one ball each of Denim Blue and Pearl Grey.

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
5.5 mm (US 9) 40cm/16” circular needles, or size to obtain gauge
1 spare circular needle in same size or smaller for grafting (optional)
Crochet hook for provisional cast-on (optional)
Scissors
Tapestry needle

GAUGE
13 sts = 10cm/4” in two-colour brioche, after blocking. Changes in gauge will affect meterage required and finished size.
