Designer’s Notes – Two-color brioche knitting works as follows: The LS (light side) is first worked using the LC (light color) and then worked again using the DC (dark color), then the DS (dark side) is worked using the LC and worked again using the DC. Then turn the work and work Row 2 DS LC, slide and work Row 2 DS DC. The instructions are written out so that you have to repeat Row 1 LS LC through to Row 2 DS DC until you are ready to work Row 13 LS LC. This is also true of the chart.

In essence each row is worked twice resulting in Row 1 LS LC, then without turning the work Row 1 DS DC. The same is true for each row of the pattern.

Yardage amount shown above equals one skein each of six different colors of the suggested yarn (129 yds/skein).
