Synthesis Tank has a unique construction with only one seam at the center back to create a wearable garment. Leave the bottom of the seam open for a split back detail - this creates a unique look and also adds an easier fit around the hips. The garter stitch background has two benefits: minimal purling, and an easy ability to fade different colors together throughout the top. Choose from 3 different body silhouettes (fitted, a-line, or relaxed) to create your perfect summer look.

This pattern assumes knowledge of increasing, decreasing, seaming, and short rows. Due to the unique one-piece construction, diagrams are provided throughout the pattern to show what portion of the garment is being worked next. All stitch patterns are fully written and fully charted so you can work with your preferred method, and the pattern also includes a stitch pattern placement key. Detailed schematics and measurement tables in both inches and cm are included along with sizing recommendations.

Sizes
26 (30, 34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58, 62)“ / 66 (76, 86.5, 96.5, 106.5, 117, 127, 137,147.5, 157.5) cm

Sizing Note
To prevent gapping at the armholes, choose your size based on your upper bust measurement, just below the armholes. Samples are shown in size 34 with about 1” of negative ease at the upper bust and 4” of negative ease at the full bust. To achieve a similar look, choose a size that is closest to your upper bust measurement, while also giving you some negative ease at the full bust.
