This is a cocoon-style ‘upside-down’ sweater. Wear it one way and you get a shawl collar with a certain length; put it on upside down and the ‘lapel’ portion of the sweater becomes much wider - and now your sweater length is shorter!

Much like making a shrug, the crocheting begins with a long rectangle that becomes the sleeves; then stitches are added on to both sides. However, they are added differently on one side than the other, which is how the upside-down feature takes shape.

Although this is a one-size sweater, it has been known to fit nicely on a size 1X or even a 2x.

8 balls of the Tribeca yarn are needed.

Check the errata before starting the pattern.
