This fingerless gloves pattern has become more of a recipe than a pattern, that can be used with any yarn and sized for any hand. Use the gauge given on the yarn label. Yardage will vary depending on yarn weight.

Pattern includes all the math and a link to a video tutorial.

How this came about: I purchased some special yarns to play with, was going to just do gauge swatches. My daughter said “why don’t you make some sleeves so we can see what they feel like against our skin”. That idea turned into hand warmers.

I decided to make them from the palm to the cuff so we could choose how long the cuffs would be based on how much yarn we have. Then I decided to do them two at a time so there would be no guessing or counting rows. No elaborate patterning, the purpose is for us to see how our new yarn performs.
