• Meet Mitten the cat. Mitten was designed for an new baby infant for a friend. He is very loving and playful, but he can become the bravest cat ever when his best friend is afraid. His favorite things to do are playing outside in good weather with his friends. On rainy or snowy days he likes to play explorer inside the house. He also loves story time, but beware he can get hyper. Over all love Mitten and he will love you twice as much back.

He makes a great gift. :D

Level: easy for amigurumi

In order for you to follow this pattern’s instructions properly and have your attempt at recreating what I have designed turn out anything similar to the reference picture I have displayed, you are expected to have at least a basic knowledge of how to crochet amigurumi.

Techniques you should know are…
Magic Circle (MC)
Single crochet (Sc)
Chain stitch (Ch)
Increasing (Inc) or (2Sc)
Decreasing (Dec) or (sc2tog)
Slip Stitch (Sl St)
and basic sewing for attaching pieces together.

If made using medium/worsted weight yarn and corresponding hook size you can expect him to be about 9 inches tall from bottom of body to top of head. From his nose to his tail tip 16 inches long. His legs are 4.5inch - 5inch, of course this also dependents on how tightly/loosely you crochet.
