Taiao is Te Reo Māori for Earth, natural world, country. The inspiration for the name and the final design came from the yarn itself, Moeke Yarns Transylvanian Merino, a rustic and all-natural wool. Together, the yarn and the design for the hat paint together a serene picture of farmstead life with plenty of texture and character and natural colors. With intricate Japanese stitch pattern panels adorning the body that collide into a star-shaped crown, this cute hat will bring the natural world into your everyday attire.
