Here one mitt was knitted from one end of the gradient and the other was
knitted from the other. The rest of the yarn was used for the scarf.

MATERIALS
140 g 4 ply/fingering weight yarn for mittens and scarf together
Pairs 3.5, 4, 4.5 and 5 mm needles
Waste yarn

TENSION
28 sts and 36 rows to 4” over stocking stitch on smallest needles after washing and blocking

The mittens are worked from the start of the hand up to the base of the fingers. The waste yarn is then removed and the cuffs are worked from the wrist up.
