A reversible tank top inspired by memories of Australian summer.
Have fun knitting a nifty way of joining the front and back together at the shoulders with a lace detail that runs round the armholes as well. Wear it on its own in warm weather or layer it when it’s cold.

Take the weather with you!

It was during a summer trip in Victoria, Australia, that I came to know Great Ocean Road Woollen Mill, a small spinning mill that specialises in small batch sustainable yarns for garments and accessories that will last for more than one season. In line with their purpose, Take the Weather tank has a simple style that can be worn on its own or layered with different outfits in different weathers and seasons. Either side can be worn as the front.

The name of the tank comes from Weather with You by Crowded House, a rock band that was formed in Melbourne. It was a song that was played almost everyday on the radio station and TV when my husband and I were in Australia for our honeymoon road trip 22 summers ago. It always holds memories of our Australian summers. It reminds me to live in harmony with nature and myself, and to find peace, not from a change of weather or situation but from within myself.
