The tamarack cardigan is an ode to my favorite tree. The lace work reflects the shape of the needles and the yarn over’s make up the needle knobs on the tree that are most visible in the winter time after it has shed all of its needles. The cardigan is a seamless design knitted from the bottom up. The button band and collar are integrated into the pattern as you work your way up. And, the sleeves are directly worked into the sweater from the top down. It is my hope that you will enjoy knitting this cardigan as much as I enjoyed designing it.
